The Ghanaian duo have sealed permanent deals with the Witches after helping them to gain promotion

Ghana midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah and defender Bright Gyamfi have signed permanent deals with newly promoted Italian Serie A side Benevento following successful loan spells.

Chibsah, 24, joined Benevento from Sassuolo while Gyamfi, 21, was recruited from Inter Milan. Both players were on a season-long loan deals.

They played crucial roles to help the club achieve its target as Chibsah missed only one game throughout the season, making 41 appearances and scoring six goals while Gyamfi played 21 games.

"I'm grateful for the confidence shown in me and I thank everyone for the opportunity to be here on a permanent deal. It has been a dream to always have a first team action in the top-flight and I believe I'm on the right path," Gyamfi told Goal.

"I hope to make a mark here and achieve my dream also because it is a big opportunity that I've gotten. I thank everyone for the love and support and will do my best as well always," he added.

SPAL 2013 and Hellas Verona booked automatic qualification slots from Serie B, while Benevonto had to dispatch Carpi 2-1 on aggregate in the play-offs to earn promotion.
