Dundee United are out to finish the job as they take on AZ in the Europa Conference League qualifiers on Thursday. The Scottish side picked up a 1-0 win against their Dutch counterparts in the first leg of the tie and are far from sure of progressing at this stage.

AZ have had a bright start to the season despite their disappointing result in the first leg against Dundee United.

The Alkmaar club looked solid in their pre-season friendlies and beat Tuzla City 5-0 on aggregate in the previous Europa Conference League qualifying round.

AZ recovered from that defeat at the weekend by beating Go Ahead Eagles, with Vangelis Pavlidis and Myron van Brederode among the goals in their opening game of the Eredivisie campaign.

United, meanwhile, have looked underwhelming so far outside of the victory at Tannadice last week.
