The People’s Elephant’s midfielder has charged his teammates to work even harder in the return leg tie to qualify for the semi-final

Enyimba's Austin Oladapo has cautioned his teammates not to over-celebrate their goalless draw against Rayon Sports in Kigali in the first leg of their Caf Confederation Cup quarter-final duel.

The People’s Elephant played a fantastic game in Rwanda on Sunday and could have secured an away goal at least if they were more coordinated in the final third.

As they prepare for the return leg this weekend in Aba, Oladapo reminded his teammates that they are yet to win anything and that they must score at home to advance to the semi-final stage.

“It was nice leaving Kigali without conceding a goal but we have only done half of the job and must still play our best game to get the needed result that will take us to the semi-final of the competition,” Oladapo told Goal.

“We gave everything we had to the game in Kigali and we must give even more at home. Before that game, we need to focus on our next game with Dynamite Force on Wednesday. It is equally an important game because we must win it to remain in contention for a double.

“It won’t be an easy game for us because our opponents have more time and days to prepare but we must still give our best and not allow anything to disturb us from getting the maximum points."
