Asamoah impressed with Inter's victory over SPAL

The Ghanaian saw full throttle as the Nerazzurri's raked in another vital three points to go third in Serie A

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has praised his teammates following Inter Milan’s 2-1 victory over SPAL in the Serie A on Sunday.

Two goals from captain Mauro Icardi were enough to extend the Nerazzurri's run to six wins in a row despite an Alberto Paloschi's strike mid-way through the second half.

Asamoah was handed another starting role and lasted the entire duration but somehow struggled to contain SPAL's youngster Manuel Lazzari on the left wing and picked up a yellow card in the process.

"Well done @Inter, it’s an impressive win. #SPALInter #Asamoah #SerieA #Inter," Asamoah wrote on Twitter.

Luciano Spalletti's men have now moved up to third position behind Juventus and Napoli.

Asamoah is expected in Ghana this week ahead of the international break as Ghana face Sierra Leone in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
