Arsenal's Iwobi delighted with goal against Bayern Munich

Alex Iwobi has expressed happiness after leading Arsenal to victory against Bayern Munich in their International Champions Cup encounter on Wednesday.

The Gunners came back from a goal down to win the Germans 3-2 on penalties after the 21-year-old levelled the tie before full time.

Iwobi was part of the change made by Arsene Wenger at halftime, after the English Premier League outfit had fallen to a ninth minute penalty converted by Robert Lewandowski.

He saved the Gunners from losing with the last kick of the game after superbly connecting to Aaron Ramsey cross with a diving header.

The Emirates outfit then went on to defeat Carlo Ancelotti’s men 3-2 via penalties, with the Nigeria international converting his.

And he has taken to social media to share his happiness, saying: “Good team spirit to get back into the game last minute and win. Nice to get a goal too #BIG17 #ArsenalInShanghai.”

The attacking midfielder, who has been in blistering form for Arsenal in preseason, having provided two assists and a goal in three games, will be hoping to continue his strong showings so as to nail a spot in Wenger's starting XI in the upcoming 2017/18 campaign.
