Following the departure of striker Mohammed Ghaddar to Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), Kelantan have already looked for his replacement. Coincidentally, their next candidate is also a compatriot of the Lebanese.

In a brief social media post, Kelantan advisor and former chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa revealed that he is meeting a player by the name of Aboubakir Al Mal on Thursday.

According to him, Aboubakir is 25-years old and can play as an attacking midfielder, midfielder and support striker.

In an earlier post, Annuar stated that Aboubakir is also a Lebanon international.

Records also show that Aboubakir is the top-scorer of the 2016-17 Lebanese Premier League, the country's top tier, having scored 16 goals.

Strangely enough, his team Tripoli SC only finished in the ninth position out of 12 teams in the season.

The Red Warriors recently sold Ghaddar to the Southern Tigers as a mid-season transfer, reportedly for a lucrative transfer fee.
