AmaZulu striker Bonginkosi Ntuli says he is delighted to have finally left Mamelodi Sundowns as he recently completed a permanent switch to Usuthu.
The former Golden Arrows striker has also wished Emiliano Tade the best of luck in Tshwane, after the Argentine moved in the opposite direction.
“Tade made my game look easy and helped me to score goals. I can add that there was an understanding between us, but it is part of football that players will leave,” Ntuli told Isolezwe.
Tade arrived at AmaZulu at the beginning of the current season and formed a deadly partnership with Ntuli, but was lured away by Pitso Mosimane in the most recent January transfer window.
“We have to accept that he has left and we must work with the players that are in the team. I wish Tade all the best at his new club,” he said.
Despite joining the Brazilians in 2014, Ntuli failed to command a regular spot at Chloorkop and spent a number of loan stints at Usuthu and Platinum Stars.
“I am happy that I have been finally released by Sundowns. It has always been my wish to leave Sundowns,” he added.
Moreover, the burly striker has welcomed the arrival of Zimbabwe international winger, Talent Chawapiwa from Baroka FC, stating that he will add value to Cavin Johnson’s side.
“Tade’s departure has given us different options to attack and I also think that Chawapiwa will do well for us,” said the 27-year-old.
“We know what he has done for Baroka and although he is different from Tade, we don’t have doubts that he will continue with his fine form at AmaZulu,” concluded the Pietermaritzburg-born striker.
