Africa U20 qualifiers: Nigeria will prepare well for Mauritania – Paul Aigbogun

Nigeria U20 coach Paul Aigbogun has disclosed that his boy will prepare well for Saturday’s Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualification clash with Mauritania.

The Flying Eagles got a hard-earned 1-1 draw inside Stade Olympique, Nouakchott with Ibrahim Babawo getting the goal for the seven-time African champions.

Aigbogun revealed that the Mauritanians are a tough side and will not be taking with light fingers in the return leg billed for the Agege Stadium, Lagos on July 21.

“We went all out for victory, but I must admit the Mauritanians are a good side. We will prepare hard and get the victory we need to qualify in Lagos on Saturday,” he told NFF website.

Should Nigeria scale the Mauritanians’ hurdle, they will qualify for the 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations billed for Niger Republic.

The top four teams of the tournament will represent Africa at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup billed for Poland.
