Former Swallows defender Roger Da Costa joins Cypriot side Aris Limassol

The 29-year-old centre-back parted ways with AmaZayoni at the end of last season after making 11 appearances for the club, but he's now found a new home in Cyprus

Former Moroka Swallows and Mpumalanga Black Aces defender Roger Da Costa has joined Cypriot side Aris Limassol on a one-year deal.

The news was confirmed by the player's agent, Miguel Paiva in a statement released on Thursday afternoon.

"I can confirm that Roger Da Costa has signed with Aris Limassol of Cyprus on a one-year deal," Paiva wrote.

Aris Limassol, who have just been promoted to the Cypriot First Division, are currently coached by former Bloemfontein Celtic and Black Aces coach Aki Agiomamitis.
