Zimbabwe international forward Kudakwashe Musharu is currently undergoing trials with Absa Premiership side Mpumalanga Black Aces.
The 28-year-old striker shared the Castle Premiership top goalscorer award with Maritzburg United target Charles Sibanda, after finishing the 2014 campaign on 12 league goals each.
Mine chairman Mlondolozi Nkomo confirmed to Zimbabwean publication Southern Eye that Musharu has been given a chance to try and impress the AmaZayoni techincal team.
“Musharu left Bulawayo via Harare on Saturday to attend trials at Mpumalanga Black Aces for two weeks,” Nkomo said this week.
Musharu had unsuccessful trials at AmaZulu last year April, but he has a chance to secure a move to the PSL either this season or next season.
AmaZayoni may be preparing for life without Tendai Ndoro, who's heavily linked with a lucrative move to Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
