UK health insurer PruHealth has signed sponsorship agreements with Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.
All three deals run for three years and will see PruHealth offer members of its Vitality rewards scheme experiences and exclusive prices, including signed merchandise, match tickets, stadium tours and kids’ coaching clinics.
As part of the agreements PruHealth and its parent firm, Discovery Holdings, will be promoted at each club’s home games through branding on pitchside boards, on the medical staff’s clothing, and on the trio’s women’s team kits.
PruHealth will be officially designated as the official health, wellness and life insurance partner of each club.
“We believe in the power of sport to help inspire people to live a healthy life, which is why we partner with leading sports figures, teams and events to help us spread the Vitality message,” stated Neville Koopowitz, the chief executive of PruHealth and Vitality.
“Our collaboration with some of the top teams in the country – Premier League winners Manchester City, runners-up Liverpool and FA Cup winners Arsenal – is the latest move in our goal of changing the game when it comes to people’s health.”
PruHealth’s sports sponsorship portfolio currently includes individual agreements with heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill, retired rugby star Jonny Wilkinson and Lord Sebastian Coe. The company also supports the PruHealth World Triathlon London and is an official partner of the UK’s test match cricket grounds.
