Six countries have submitted bids to host the 2019 and 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, according to Caf, which closed the entries on Monday November 25.
Gabon, Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Guinea and Zambia are the candidates for two editions.
Caf will examine their bids and send a team to inspect available infrastructure before a final decision scheduled for the first trimester of 2014, according to officials.
Among the six, only Guinea and Zambia are yet to host the tournament. Morocco will host the upcoming edition in 2015 followed by Libya in 2017.
