Commentary

FULL TIME: MELBOURNE CITY 2 BRISBANE ROAR 1 - Melbourne City started off the second half with a comfortable 2-0 lead, however they always left the door slightly ajar for the Roar and it never became more evident than when Ivanovic was able to find the back of the net at the 71st minute. A disallowed goal to Trewin gave Melbourne City a scare, with the Roar continuing to ask the question, but in the end Melbourne City take the three points with a 2-1 win.
90' + 5' Daley pushes the ball to his own advantage as he spins around inside the box and pushes it just away to the left.
90' + 4' It's now or never for the Roar, who are fast running out of time, if they want to tie the game up.
90' + 2' The ball falls to the feet of Daley as he shoots low and hard, but it is saved by Glover.
