Thembinkosi Lorch: Fan-favourite dumps Orlando Pirates  for Mamelodi Sundowns

WHAT PIRATES SAID

Sundowns' signing of Lorch is another huge statement of their seriousness to continue dominating South African football as well as conquering the continent. Their signings continue to expose Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates who are less aggressive in the transfer market and have been struggling to match Masandawana's squad quality.Arriving at Chloorkop where Sundowns already have depth in midfield, it is to be seen if Lorch will command a regular place in the team.

Sundowns resume their Premier Soccer League campaign against Golden Arrows on Valentine's Day and Lorch will be up in contention to be selected to play. By then, he would have had enough time to train with his new team and blend into the Masandawana squad.
