WHAT HAPPENED?

“We have noted with concern the contents of your media query and the video clip depicting our club coach in an uncompromising position," Malatji said as per Sunday World.“To date, this office is applying its mind to the matter in question and legal [counsel] is sought before commenting and forging a way forward in this matter.“The management wishes to implore the players, the administrative personnel and the technical team to comport themselves in a manner befitting the decorum of the brand and refrain from engaging in activities which have the potential to undermine the integrity and reputation of the team.”

WHAT MALATJI SAID

The developments at Sekhukhune could ruin the club's ambitions for the 2024/25 season.After Hyballa completed pre-season with the first-team, a new coach will take over amid rumours linking Lehlohonolo Seema with a return.Although Seema already knows most of the players and worked with them last season with a playing system they already understand, his return might mean starting all over.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Rumours of Seema returning to the club continue to swell and the possibility of the club looking elsewhere for a new coach cannot be entirely ruled out.Sekhukhune might want the new coach to start working immediately before the Premier Soccer League campaign starts.
