    WHAT HAPPENED?

    Wydad Athletic Club secured their fourth straight Botola Pro League victory after a 2-0 triumph over Hassania d’Agadir at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium on Sunday evening.

    Jamal Harkass scored the opening goal for the Red Castle in the 36th minute, followed by Ismail Moutaraji netting a decisive goal in the 56th minute for Rhulani Mokwena's team.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Former Mamelodi Sundowns player Cassius Mailula started the match against d’Agadir, while new acquisition Thembinkosi Lorch made his debut, coming off the bench in the 64th minute.

    The victory meant that Wydad achieved four consecutive wins in the league, keeping them in fourth place in the Botola Pro League standings.

    Mokwena's team is now 13 points behind log leaders RS Berkane and one point behind second-placed AS FAR Rabat with ten matches remaining.

    WHAT NEXT FOR WYDAD?

    Wydad will aim to continue their winning streak as they visit Chabab Mohammedia at the Stade El Bachir Stadium on Sunday.

    It remains uncertain whether Mokwena will be able to lead the team, given reports that he lost his grandmother on Sunday.
