Pitso Mosimane remains unattached since he parted ways with Al Ahly almost three months ago. The 2016 Caf Coach of the Season is currently back home working on the Pitso Mosimane Schools Football. Mosimane launched the programme as part of his plan to give back to the sport in South Africa. However, this has not stopped rumours linking him with clubs and national teams.&nbsp;

In May this year, Zamalek SC Sporting Director Amir Mortada Mansour revealed that Mosimane’s agent—his wife Moira Tlhagale—had approached the White Knight about potentially working with the Caire giants.“Mosimane’s agent approached us through a middleman, she said there are problems with Al Ahly and as an agent she was looking for potential jobs for Mosimane,” Amir told ONTime Sports.It’s a remarkable claim considering the tension and animosity that exists between the two Egyptian giants, and surely Jingles would have been aware that he’d be playing with fire to even suggest he could swap Ahly for Zamalek.The White Knights ultimately appointed Jesualdo Ferreira, but might there still be some interest in snaring their rivals’ erstwhile talisman?

Earlier this year, reports in the local media indicated that one of the biggest clubs in the United Arab Emirates' Gulf Pro League were keen on signing the Ahly coach.It appears as though Al Rayyan were considering a move for the ex-Sundowns boss as they sought a replacement for departing Laurent Blanc.The ex-Manchester United and France defender was ultimately replaced by former Chile international Nicolas Cordova.UAE side Al Wahda FC have also reportedly been keen on Mosimane, who briefly spent time in the Middle East during his playing career turning out for Al Rayyan.

Speaking in June this year, Mosimane insisted that South African clubs could afford his salary demands should he find himself back on the market.The 57-year-old had signed a two-year extension with Ahly in March this year, putting pen to paper on a deal worth a reported 2.5 million Rand per month, and would surely be seeking similar terms if he is approached by a PSL club."Do you want to tell me that Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates do not have money to pay a coach?” he asked the media. “No, what we are talking about is the culture that we cannot pay a coach R2-million a month, but if you have sponsors you can do it.“In South Africa sponsorship is big. Rumours linking Mosimane with Bournemouth emerged on August&nbsp;31, a day after the Premier League club had parted ways with its manager Scott Parker.&nbsp; The Cherries dismissed&nbsp;the English tactician a few days after the team's embarrassing 9-0 defeat to Liverpool in a Premier League clash and there was a debate on <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-cm/news/mosimane-to-bournemouth-fans-ex-al-ahly-mamelodi-sundowns/blt52dabfc1677d9565" target="_blank">Twitter </a>on whether&nbsp;it would be a good move if Mosimane moved to England.&nbsp; Sean Dyche, Jonathan Woodgate and Chris Wilder have also been linked with the Bournemouth managerial job.

The five-time PSL title-winning coach was linked with Tanzania giants Simba on 6 September 2022. The rumours of Mosimane being appointed as the new Simba head coach emerged after Zoran Manojlovic had been dismissed by the club. Last month,&nbsp;Mosimane travelled to visit Simba's archrivals Young Africans in Tanzania for their Citizens Week.
