His latest howler came in a crucial MTN8 second-leg defeat to rivals Mamelodi Sundowns as they beat Downs 2-1 on the day to advance to the final after a 3-2 aggregate scoreline.
As a leader of a big team like Chiefs, you cannot afford to commit the kinds of mistakes that Petersen makes. At this point, he is not adding much value to the side and he is proving to be a liability for Molefi Ntseki's side.
