The South African star was not too pleased with Broos’ reasoning for leaving out of the national team squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and South Sudan, and now responded on the pitch.In Al Ahly’s first Caf Champions League game of the season, Tau netted a brace against Kenyan side Gor Mahia FC in their 3-0 win.

Tau’s contract with Al Ahly runs until June 2025, but rumours suggested he was nearing an exit.&nbsp;However, it appears the situation with the club has been resolved for now, with the player featuring for the team and back on the scoring board.
