WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Last season, Amakhosi fell in the Round of 16 after failing to get past second-tier outfit Milford FC. They eventually ended the Premier Soccer League in their worst-ever position, 10th.</p><p>Coach Nasreddine Nabi was appointed to help the team end their trophy drought.</p><p>The Glamour Boys have gone 10 years without a major trophy and this season, the only realistic chance of winning something lies with their performance in the Nedbank Cup.</p><p>It is an opportunity that goalkeeper Brandon Petersen is not ready to let slip.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>"Obviously, you know I think [going for a decade without a trophy] will be a bit of extra motivation to the guys knowing that at the moment there's only the Nedbank Cup and the league that's still up for grabs," he said after the draw.</p><p>"So, I think realistically speaking going for this trophy and trying to change our fortunes and obviously using that as a motivation, as a stepping stone.</p><p>“So, I think this time around I have a feeling it will be quite different and hopefully, God willing, we can go all the way," he continued.</p>

WHAT PETERSEN SAID
