    The Bafana Bafana international could get the nod ahead of fellow left-back Paseka Mako, who had a poor match against Stellies and he was substituted at half-time.

    The Bafana Bafana captain has walked straight into the Pirates starting line-up after joining Bucs from Bidvest Wits and coach Zinnbauer has confirmed that Hlatshwayo is the club's vice-captain.

    The Pirates captain was a noticeable absentee from the team's starting line-ups against Cape Town City and AmaZulu FC, but he started in midweek and he is expected to lead Bucs on Saturday.

    The 29-year-old midfield maestro remains Pirates' first-choice central midfielder under Zinnbauer.

    The versatile attacker, who made a substitute appearance in midweek, could return to the starting team, having scored the only goal of the match as Pirates defeated Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarter-finals.

    The skilful attacker remains one of Pirates' key players and a regular in the team having netted twice against Chiefs in competitive matches since 2018.
