Inacio Miguel hails Kaizer Chiefs as ‘biggest club in South Africa’ ahead of epic PSL clash with Mamelodi Sundowns - ‘Everywhere we go feels like home’

<p>The newly recruited 28-year-old speaks about how he has enjoyed the atmosphere created by the Kaizer Chiefs supporters in the first two games he has played officially in the PSL.</p><p>In his first two games for Chiefs, Miguel has played away from home and in both games, they have been victorious. They beat Marumo Gallants and AmaZulu. In the clash against Usuthu, the defender opened his goal-scoring account in Mzansi and bagged the Man of the Match award.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>“Listen, until this moment I didn’t feel that I played away, the first game at Marumo Gallants, I feel like I played home [against AmaZulu] I feel like I played home, Kaizer Chiefs is the biggest club in South Africa,” he revealed to<a href="https://www.idiskitimes.co.za/betway-premiership/miguel-makes-bold-statement-ahead-of-fnb-stadium-debut/" target="_blank"> iDiski Times</a>.</p><p>“Everywhere we go we play home, so there’s no… of course, there’s a little bit of difference because we play in our city, with our local supporters, but everywhere we go we play home – so I always feel home.”</p><p></p><p></p><p></p>

WHAT MIGUEL SAID

<p>After securing two impressive wins away from home in their first two matches, Chiefs will now look to make a bigger statement by beating the defending champions Sundowns in front of what will be a vociferous crowd at the FNB Stadium.</p><p>The Brazilians, though, will also be high in confidence after winning their first two league matches. Manqoba Mngqithi's charges also hold the edge in the sides last two meetings.</p><p></p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>The Angolan has been a great find for Chiefs, with a goal, Man of the Match award and contributing to six points in two games.</p><p>Miguel has forged a great centre-back pairing with Rushwin Dortley having only let in two goals so far this season. The pair will need to be more solid against a dangerous Downs attack.</p><p></p>
