Wolves’ Adama Traore eyes more chances under Nuno Espirito Santo

Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore is eyeing more chances under boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

The forward made his first Premier League start in their 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend since joining the Wolves from Middlesbrough in a club record deal in the summer.

The youngster put in a decent performance in the outing before he was replaced by Ivan Cavaleiro in the 61st minute and the speedster has vowed to give more for the club provided he gets more opportunities.

"I want to give more, but everything takes time. I hope I have more opportunities,” Traore told Shropshire Star.

“Whatever is the decision of the manager, I'm still working and improving and still hungry.

"I think I can do miles better than the last game. I have many things to do.

"I was very happy [to start], but not happy in the end because we lost. It's been good for me to have the experience, keep learning and working.

"We'll learn from the errors we did and keep going in the next game.

Wolves have not scored in their last two games and as they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Molineux Stadium on Saturday, the forward wants the team to work on their finishing.

"The important thing is the finish. We've been working this week in the final third of the pitch, we need more quality to score, but the good thing is we're making chances," he continued.

"We've created chances in games and been good defensively, so now we have to finish the chances.

"We've been working very hard, the team will have the right mentality to fight for a win.

"Tottenham is a good team and we know the quality of their players. We'll focus on the game and play 100 per cent.”

Wolverhampton are 10th in the league standings with 15 points from 10 games.
