Enyimba new signing Austin Oladapo reveals he made the decision to join the Aba side in order 'to grow more as a player and also taste how it feels like playing on the continent'.
The striker had a decent 2016-17 season for Gombe United scoring ten league goals before the People's Elephants secured his services, on a two-year deal.
“I am a player of Enyimba. I have signed a two-year contract and I am delighted to be here. The club tracked me during the second round last season when I played against them and after sending scouts to monitor me they made their interest public when they approached my representatives. It gives me great delight to work with Enyimba," Oladapo told Goal .
“I won’t feel any added pressure of playing for a bigger club because I played with Gombe United with my whole heart and I justified myself last season. I want to grow more as a player and also taste how it feels like playing on the continent.
“I have been told that the club will contact us before the end of the week to inform us when we are going to resume for the commencement of the preparations for the season,” he concluded.
