McKennie collected a pass from C.J. Sapong, beat his defender with a drop of the shoulder, and calmly finished low to the near post.

After making the breakthrough with Schalke's senior team this season, it appears McKennie is poised to make a similar impact with the U.S. as they begin the long road back after failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
