Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement to sign highly-rated defender Juan Foyth, Estudiantes club president Juan Sebastian Veron has confirmed.
The 19-year-old centre-back has been linked to many European clubs during the transfer window, as Tottenham made a formal offer to him, but PSG was the most serious contender and paid the amount Estudiantes asked for.
“We already have an agreement between PSG and Estudiantes for Juan. All that is left is for his representatives to strike a deal. Foyth's sale will be for more than €10m.” Veron told Radio Continental.
The former Manchester United man thinks Foyth has some special abilities “He has an awareness and judgement that is difficult to find in a boy.”
If the deal is done, the teenager will become the fourth-choice central defender in coach Unai Emery's squad behind Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Kimpembe.
