Ellis' roster features 23 players who participated in the Americans' January camp in Southern California. Defender Meghan Klingenberg and forward Mallory Pugh have been added to that group after returning from injury.

Goalkeepers Adrianna Franch and Casey Murphy, defenders Jaelene Hinkle and Mandy Freeman, midfielders Kristen Edmonds, Christina Gibbons, Taylor Smith and Tierna Davidson, and forwards Kealia Ohai, Jessica McDonald and Savannah McCaskill also were left off Wednesday's squad after being with the national team last month.

The U.S. will face Germany on March 1 in Chester, Pennsylvania, before traveling for a match against England on March 4 in Harrison, New Jersey. The Americans close the tournament against France on March 7 in Washington.
