Ulinzi are sixth on the log with 34 points while Vihiga are a distant 14th with only 23 points after 22 rounds of matches

Ulinzi Stars will take the fighting spirit exhibited in the 1-1 draw against Karriobangi Sharks when they next play Vihiga United.

The Soldiers rallied from a goal down after going behind in the 13th minute only to pull an equalizer with two minutes left on the clock to the final whistle.

Oscar Wamalwa saved a point for Dunstan Nyaudo with an 88th equalizer and the coach, who has won only one of his last 11 home games at Afraha Stadium believes that their relatively away record will come in handy when they play Vihiga.

“To us, it was a point won and a good starting point in preparation for the Vihiga United game.

“The fighting spirit in the last 20- 30 minutes was wonderful and we created a number of good chances, one of them a big one which Kokoyo headed high and I can’t blame him because he is a defender and decision making in such situations is a problem.

“Mwale is a new player in the league and he is still learning and I cannot blame him as well. Hopefully, they will do better next time,” Nyaudo told the club's official website.
