Ulinzi Stars captain Hassan Mohamed calls for better record at home

Ulinzi returns to Kakamega with confidence as they face Posta Rangers

Ulinzi Stars are not giving up their push to turn around their poor run at home, even as the Soldiers prepare to take on Posta Rangers away in Kakamega.

Ulinzi have only won three home games this season compared to seven victories picked on the road.

But as they head out to Western with high hopes of picking their eighth victory, the team assistant captain Hassan ‘Rio’ Mohamed says that the Army side should not rest on their laurels but instead push even further to better the poor record at Afraha.

“We’d really like to do better at home and we will not tire from trying to give our home fans both entertainment and wins but while we get to play away from home it is also a chance to give our all and build on our ambitions.”

“It remains a fact that we have done well away and this is another opportunity. We hope to make it count,” the skipper told ulinzistars.com

Only Zoo FC, Tusker and Chemelil Sugar have given Ulinzi Stars three points at home while Sony Sugar stretched the tough home run when the Millers crashed the Soldiers in their last game.

But Ulinzi returns to Kakamega, where they have picked two wins from their last trips, with confidence as they face Rangers.
