Tite offers few hints at training but Arthur and Roberto Firmino in line for Brazil starts

Brazil coach Tite offered few hints at his starting line-up for this week’s Brasil Global Tour clash with Uruguay when his side took to the training field on Wednesday.

However, it appears that Wallace, Arthur and Roberto Firmino could all be in line for starts on Friday at the Emirates Stadium.

Tite allowed only 15 minutes of access to the press, which saw only a small warm-up at Arsenal’s training complex in St Albans.

Wallace, though, was working with the back four on Tuesday and appears set for a start in place of the injured Casemiro.

It also looks possible that Barcelona’s Arthur will retain his starting role in the midfield next to Renato Augusto, who replaced the injured Coutinho this week and was out for his first training session of the week after a long trip from China.

Paulinho is another China-based player returning to the squad and he will hope to edge Renato in the fight for a place in the XI that will meet Uruguay.

Gabriel Jesus scored against Saudi Arabia last month but was moved wide right in the following game against Argentina and may yet drop to the bench, while Douglas Costa is fighting for a starting role after sealing a return to the squad.

Possible Brazil XI vs Uruguay: Alisson, Danilo, Marquinhos, Miranda, Filipe Luis; Walace, Arthur, Renato Augusto (or Paulinho); Douglas Costa, Neymar, Firmino (or Jesus).
