Tammy Abraham on target in Swansea City’s win

The 19-year-old striker netted his second goal of the pre season to help the Swans triumph over their Championship opponents

Tammy Abraham was on target for Swansea City as they recorded a 2-0 victory over Birmingham City at St Andrew’s in a club friendly game on Saturday.

The British-Nigerian Striker joined the Liberty Stadium outfit on loan from Chelsea and has been showcasing his talents on the pitch during the club’s pre-season tour.

Abraham broke the deadlock with 56 minutes played. After a magnificent turn by Leroy Fer to shake Craig Gardner, he found the youngster with a weighted cross at the back post and the Blues loanee volleyed home from close range.

The English top flight team doubled their lead after Wayne Routledge teed up Fer whose’s shot took a wicked deflection that sent the goalkeeper the wrong way after 76 minutes.

Paul Clements’ side visits the Saint Mary’s Stadium to face Southampton in their season opener on August 12th.
