Kariobangi Sharks will kick off their Caf debut at home after they landed Arta Solar FC of Djibouti in the preliminary round

Kariobangi Sharks have tied down midfielder Sven Yidah with a long-term deal.

Yida has had a productive three seasons since he joined the side in 2016 when Sharks gained promotion to the Kenyan Premier League.

He went ahead to steer Sharks to a third-place finish in their maiden season and FKF Shield Cup victory in the 2018 campaign.

“We are happy to announce that after three years of dedicated service, Kenya under-23 midfielder Sven Yida has committed his future at the club by extending his contract,” Sharks announced on their Twitter account.

Yida, who moved to Sharks from Ligi Ndogo said that he is looking forward to helping the club achieve their target as Sharks prepare for arguably one of their toughest seasons with Caf Confederation Cup assignment lined up.

“I am happy to commit my future here at this wonderful club which has been my second family since 2016 when I joined from my childhood team Ligi Ndogo. I am glad to be part of this amazing project and.”

Kariobangi Sharks will kick off their Caf Confederation Cup debut at home after the Kenyan representative landed Arta Solar FC of Djibouti in the preliminary rounds.

The first leg is set to be played in Nairobi on 27/28 November with the return leg coming on December 4/5 in Carta, Djibouti.
