Sofapaka striker promises to score against Kariobangi Sharks

Sofapaka striker Umaru Kasumba is expecting to get into the score sheet when they face Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday.

Batoto ba Mungu will lock horns with fellow Premier League side at Nyayo National Stadium and Kasumba is enthusiastic on staging an all-round performance against Kariobangi Sharks in the round of 16 GOtv Shield contest.

"There are a lot of goals to come. I will give all it takes to not only score on Sunday against Sharks but also continue with same in other games. Providing assists for my teammates makes me happy too because that is another aspect we work hard on in training but it feels so great when you score," Kasumba told Sofapaka website.

"I was happy to score on my debut recently, and I think our fans were waiting for that; truthfully since then, I have been off target. This may not sound good to me but I came here to score, my job is to score and I am going to score."

The Ugandan import is looking forward to getting on the score sheet more regularly as Sofapaka continue their hunt for GOtv Cup and Kenyan Premier League title.
