Seko Fofana fires Udinese past Bologna

The Cote d'Ivoire international was on target to help the Friulian White-blacks end the season on a winning note

Seko Fofana scored the solitary goal in Udinese’ 1-0 victory over Bologna at the Stadio Friuli in their final 207-18 Italian Serie A encounter.

Igor Tudor’s men returned to winning ways last weekend with a 1-0 triumph over Hellas Verona after a 15-game winless run across all competitions, and against the Red and Blues, they got another victory to sign off in style in front of their home supporters.

The 23-year-old midfielder scored the crucial goal at the half-hour mark after benefitting from Antonin Barak’s assist.

Fofana featured from start to finish in the tie while Malian defender Cheick Keita watched the entire contest from the bench.
