Rwandese keeper Emery Mvuyekure has revealed why he settled to sign for Tusker.
The former AS Kigali FC custodian is among the three players, who were unveiled by the brewers on Thursday, as they continue to build a team to fight for the title in the coming season.
Mvuyekure, who also played for APR and Police FC in Rwanda now says he joined the brewers under coach Robert Matano because they want to win titles. “I joined Tusker because I know it’s a team that wants to win and not just participate. I know them for winning titles and I love winning too so I want to help them achieve the same target.”
On competition in the department he said, “The goalkeepers that I have found here are working really hard. Definitely it will not be easy but I know we are a team and if we push each other the competition will be healthier and we will achieve more.”
Tusker will be keen to improve from last season’s position in the league.
