Rodolfo Zapata: AFC Leopards will keep most of the players for next season

AFC Leopards coach Rodolfo Zapata says most of the players in the club will be retained.

Ingwe has improved tremendously over the past few months, and are currently on a four match winning streak. The Argentine is impressed by the improvement seen in the team, but he believes it will even be better come next season, after they have gelled well.

“Since I took charge, I have lost two games, drawn three and won the rest, it has not been easy because I came when the season had already begun and had to take some time to understand the players and their abilities. All I can say is that this team has the best squad, it is about molding them.

"Most of these players are young but are coming up really fast, they are the future of the Kenyan football. Next season we are going for it (league title), we just need to keep most of the players and if we sign, then it should be exceptional talent,” Zapata told Goal.

Ingwe will take on rivals Gor Mahia in their next league match on Saturday hoping to overturn a 2-1 lose suffered in the first leg.
