Burnley picked up a 1-0 win over Everton to move up to sixth in the league and their goalkeeper was pivotal in getting the three points. Pope made four saves in preserving Burnley's clean sheet at Goodison Park.

Jose Mourinho's men inflicted further misery on a struggling Crystal Palace with a 4-0 win at Old Trafford and Antonio Valencia was busy throughout on the right side of the defence.
