The 18-man squad that is set to be named on Wednesday by coach Stanley Okumbi, will leave the country on July 16 for two the week trip in Europe. Shikhalo says he will give his best with hopes of securing a deal with a good club abroad if he makes the trip.
"I thank God for this opportunity, it has come in the right time and it provides a good exposure to me and others.I am going to give my best, hoping to impress scouts, who will probably sign me and enhance my career growth.
“I am leaving it to God, optimistic that at the end, I will realize my goal," Shikhalo told Goal.
Shikhalo, who has featured for Tusker and Muhoroni Youth before joining the mailmen, has played second fiddle to Patrick Matasi, who has been consistent for the side.
