Harambee Stars are still in position 112 in the world, 67 places behind Ghana, who they are set to take on in September.
Tunisia are still top in the continent despite dropping three places, followed by Senegal, who jumped three places up in the global rankings.
Congo DR completes the top three rankings in Africa while Ghana, Kenya’s next opponents in the Africa Cup of Nations, climbed two places to position 45.
Regionally, Uganda is the highest ranked East African country and 82 in the world followed by Kenya (112) and Rwanda (136).
World champions France, jumped six places to replace Germany at the top of the global rankings followed by Belgium and Brazil.
Fifa World Cup losing finalists, Croatia moved 16 places to fourth on the global stage.
