Nigeria 1 Mali 0: Peace Efih hands Dennerby first Super Falcons win

Thomas Dennerby recorded his first win as Nigeria women coach as his ladies edged past Mali 1-0 in Thursday's WAFU Women's Nations Cup at the Sports Park Stadium.
Peace Efih's injury-time goal was all the Super Falcons required clipping the wings of the stubborn Hussien Mohammed's side that had the intent of avenging their 2016 Africa Women's Cup of Nations defeat in Abidjan.
The Malians troubled Dennerby's ladies, who remained solid defensively in the first half which ended in a drab stalemate.
