Neddy Atieno among the Harambee Starlets trio yet to report to camp

Neddy Atieno is among the three players who are yet to report to Harambee Starlets camp ahead of Cecafa Women Championships.

The regional tournament will be held in Rwanda between July 19, and July 27, 2018.

The Makolanders’ striker as well as Gaspo Youth’s Elizabeth Wambui and Spedag left back Doris Anyango, are all set to link up with the rest of the squad in Machakos.

Atieno, who was attending a military progression course, was set to report to camp on Monday with Anyango and Wambui linking up with the team on Tuesday.

“Dorris (Anyango) and Elizabeth (Wambui) requested some time off due to family commitments, and will be joining us in due course,” explained Coach David Ouma.

Kenya will take on Uganda in the opening match, slated for July 19, 2018. The Starlets will then face off with Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Rwanda in the five-nation tournament, set to be played in a round-robin format.
