MTHATHA BUCKS vs. HIGHLANDS PARK

Saturday’s action begins with Mthatha Bucks facing a daunting prospect when they square up against the log leaders, Highlands Park at Mthatha Stadium. Bucks recent form suggests this will be a routine victory for Highlands Park which will strengthen their quest to be top of the standings before the festive break.

BLACK LEOPARDS vs. WITBANK SPURS

On other matches, Black Leopards will look to maintain their unbeaten run at Witbank Spurs at Thohoyandou Stadium. Both sides are equal on 17 points but separated on goal difference and on ninth and tenth place respectively. Leopards will be banking on home support once more but Witbank Spurs have proven to be a plucky side in recent times, the match might go either way.

STELLENBOSCH FC vs. MBOMBELA UNITED

The match of the weekend sees Stellenbosch FC and their rivals, Mbombela United who are also promotion hopefuls meet at Parow Park, Cape Town. The hosts recently stopped their winless run and they will want to build on that winning feeling they received last weekend. On the other hand, Mbombela United will be hoping for a result that will propel them in the table, but a win for either side here will be morale boosting for their promotion prospects.

REAL KINGS vs. TTM FC

The hosts face a rejuvenated TTM FC side at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium who earned a surprising shock win over AmaTuks last weekend. Real Kings are a point behind TTM FC with 18 points, and they will be aiming for a win that will possibly push them in the top six. TTM FC will prove to be a tough nut to crack as they have proven in recent times, so this match will be hard to predict.

SUPER EAGLES vs. RICHARDS BAY

At Goble Park, relegation hopefuls clash as they seek to arrest their slide towards the relegation drop zone. Both sides come off a defeat in their previous outing but the former will hope that home support will help them gain three important points and start running away from the relegation spots.

JOMO COSMOS vs. ROYAL EAGLES

Ezenkosi face a hapless Royal Eagles side at Vosloorus Stadium, Johannesburg on Sunday. The home side will be seen as a sure bet to secure victory here which will see them remain in second place and putting more pressure on log leaders, Highlands Park if all goes well this weekend.

UBUNTU CT FC vs. UTHONGATHI FC

Ubuntu CT FC hosts their fellow relegation candidates, Uthongathi FC at Parow Park, Cape Town on Sunday. The home side come off a demoralising loss from the Cape Town derby whilst the away earned a key victory against Real Kings which halted their charge towards relegation spots. Whoever gets victory in this game will be happy and the win is mostly needed for the home side, as their prospects of moving up the table are becoming slim week by week.
