The shoppers will be aiming at getting a favorable result ahead of the second leg that will be staged at Kasarani on October 28. The overall winner will take part in the top tier, with the loser playing trade in the National Super League.

Nakumatt finished sixteenth in the KPL, with Ushuru finishing third in the NSL to set up the anxiously awaited meeting. Wazito and Thika United have been relegated to the second tier with Western Stima and KCB making a return to the KPL.
