Modern Coast Rangers have roped in six new players in the just concluded transfer window.
Mathare United striker Harun Pamba is one of the new faces signed by the Coastal-based club. Ranger’s club secretary Ferdinand Ogot confirmed that Harun Pamba has been acquired on a one year loan deal from the ‘slum boys’.
The rest of the new signings have penned a two year deal with Rangers. They are Dennis Ouma (defender) from Chemilil, Eliakim Nyanga (midfielder), who previously featured for Chemilil before being a free agent, Ali Abdul (striker), who previously featured for Sofapaks before moving to Burnley Uprising, Dominic Waithaka (midfielder) from Savannah Cement and Ibrahim Wesonga Wanga (striker), who was unattached.
Ogot further confirmed the club has dropped Congolese midfielder Edman Adard, who has never featured since the start of the season due to injury. Adard was acquired at the beginning of the season alongside his country man striker Michael Ange.
Other players dropped are midfielders Collins Ouma and strikers Erick Okoth, Nelson Mganga and Athman Mzee. Modern Coast Rangers are placed 10th position with 20 points on the 19 team NSL table after playing 15 matches.
