Miheso denies signing contract break by gunpoint

Kenyan player Clifton Miheso has denied reports that he was forced to terminate his contract with Golden Arrows at gunpoint.

'Useless Pogba was never worth £100m!'

The versatile defender and midfielder had been quoted by The Standard in an alarming story that claimed that two gunmen had made him sign a letter dissolving his deal with the club in Arrows chief executive officer Gordon Masondo's office.

However, the South African side later published on their official website a letter from Miheso to the club's chairman which insisted that everything was above board and apologised for the story.

"This is to state my disappointment on the news claiming that you had me threatened," read the letter. "This is all incorrect. In fact, I am grateful to you and everything you have done for me.

"The termination agreement I signed is correct and I was not forced to sign it. I did this willingly and I have been paid everything due to me.

"I wish to state my apologies for everything."

Miheso is now expected to return to his native Kenya after struggling in the South African top division.
