Pulis in talks over Wednesday job


Tony Pulis is in talks with Sheffield Wednesday over the vacant managerial post at the club, reports BBC Sport.

Wednesday sacked former boss Garry Monk on Monday. Pulis has been out of work since leaving Middlesbrough, where he also succeeded Monk as manager.

Malinovskiy agent responds to Inter links


The agent of Atalanta star Ruslan Malinovskiy has commented on reports linking the midfielder with a move to Inter.

"If offers arrive we will discuss them together," agent Sergiy Serebrennikov told FCInter1908. "I don't think this is the right time to think about other clubs.

"He is focused on the pitch and on his commitments with Atalanta. Inter are a top club with a great tradition and Antonio Conte is a good coach. I can only say positive things about them, but at the moment there is nothing."

Leicester open talks with Evans over new contract


Leicester City have opened talks with Jonny Evans over a new contract, reports The Athletic.

The 32-year-old's deal expires at the end of the current season but both he and the club are keen to see a new contract agreed.

Evans is considered one of the most important members of Brendan Rodgers' side due to his ability and experience.

'I'm not counting myself out' - Bolasie


Yannick Bolasie is attempting to stay positive after being left out of Everton's 25-man Premier League squad.

Bolasie was linked with a loan switch to Middlesbrough but that move did not materalise and Bolasie, who has recently been on loan with Aston Villa, Anderlecht and Sporting Lisbon, did not make the cut with Carlo Ancelotti.

"It was disappointing," Bolasie told Sky Sports. "I continue to keep working and to play and train to the best of my ability. That's what I'm doing right now.

"I'm not counting myself out, and I believe that eventually my talent will come out - wherever it's with and wherever I am. I believe in what I'm doing, and I feel I'm doing myself justice."

PSG yet to make Neymar contract offer


PSG have yet to make a contract offer to Neymar, according to Le10sport.

Though sporting director Leonardo has confirmed the club have started negotiations over a new deal, there has yet to be a proposal put on the table. 

For his part, Neymar is waiting for an offer but has yet to be engaged in the discussions.

Barcelona eye Wilshere & Sturridge among free agents


Barcelona are eyeing a number of free agents to help reinforce their squad, according to Sport.

Among the players currently without a club that Barca are considering are Mario Mandzukic, Alexandre Pato, Jack Wilshere, Shinji Kagawa, and Daniel Sturridge.

Manchester United will consider sending midfielders Ethan Galbraith and Arnau Puigmal and full-back Ethan Laird out on loan in the January transfer window, claims The Manchester Evening News.

The trio nearly left United on loan in the summer window but injury issues kept them at the club, where they have been featuring for United's youth sides.

Arsenal, Juventus and PSG are among a host of clubs chasing Brazilian forward Brenner, according to Calcio Mercato.

The 20-year-old has scored 15 goals in 26 appearances for Sao Paulo this season.

Zidane nears Germany switch


Enzo Zidane, son of Zinedine, is closing in on a move to 2. Bundesliga side Erzgebirge Aue.

The 25-year-old midfielder most recently played for Almeria and Erzgebirge Aue president Helge Leonhardt has confirmed talks are ongoing.

However, the move has been slowed down by coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
