Manchester City are chasing Inter defender Alessandro Baston, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter have already turned down a €60m offer but that bid could rise in the coming weeks.

The club is expected to be forced to sell one big player ahead of next season, and that could be Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar or, most likely, Bastoni, who will likely command the highest fee.

'Bayern Munich should sign Kane if Lewandowski leaves'


Bayern Munich should pursue Harry Kane if Robert Lewandowski is to leave the club this summer, says former Bayern defender Jerome Boateng.

Lewandowski says he will not renew in Munich, and Boateng says Kane would be the perfect replacement should the club choose to cash in.

It has been reported that Lionel Messi is wanted in MLS by Inter Miami, but are they really set to arrange a 2023 deal for the Paris Saint-Germain star?

Messi signed a two-year contract at PSG last summer when he arrived on a free transfer following his surprise exit from Barcelona.

The 34-year-old has the option of an additional year at Parc des Princes, but it has been suggested that he is eager to take on a new challenge in the United States when his deal runs out.

Chiellini ready for transfer abroad amid MLS links


Giorgio Chiellini has admitted he is curious to try his fortunes abroad and away from Serie A, as links connecting the Juventus defender to a move to MLS continue to gather pace.

The Italy veteran, who will hang up his boots at international level this summer, played the final home match of his near-two-decade spell in Turin on Monday, and left to a hero's reception as he considers his next steps.

The allure of a move across the Atlantic has not been discounted as the next step for the stalwart defender, and now Chiellini has acknowledged that he would like to try his luck outside of his home country.

Juventus offer Pogba a deal


GOAL can confirm that Paul Pogba has received a three-year contract offer from Juventus with a salary of €7.5M-a-year.

Pogba has proposed a deal worth €11m a year, though he is still considering his former club's offer.

A return to Turin appears to be Pogba's most likely destination, especially given that he would be back playing under Massimiliano Allegri, with whom he had a great relationship before leaving for Manchester United.

Di Maria set to join Juventus


Angel Di Maria will join Juventus on a free transfer this summer, after agreeing to a one-year contract at the Allianz Stadium, GOAL can confirm. 

Di Maria has spent the last seven years of his career with PSG, where he has won numerous domestic trophies, but the club has decided not to extend his contract. 

The 34-year-old will play his final game for the Ligue 1 champions against Metz on May 21 before becoming a free agent the following month, with Juve poised to sign him.

Barca willing to offer Depay in Lewandowski deal (Mundo Deportivo)


Barcelona are open to the idea of offering Memphis Depay in order to secure the deal for Robert Lewandowski, according to Mundo Deportivo. 

Barcelona wants to sign the Polish striker for €30 million, but are willing to pay up to €35 million as his contract with Bayern Munich doesn't expire till the summer of 2023.

If that isn't enough, Barcelona will consider luring the German champions with their Dutch attacker.

Bayern Munich is interested in signing the soon-to-be free agent Ousmane Dembélé, according to Sport Bild.

The club has been considering a move for Dembélé for almost a year but wanted to see how he performs after his injury.

Man Utd pushing to sign Ajax defender Timber


According to The Mirror, new Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is looking to bring Jurrien Timber from Ajax with him as he begins his new project in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old played a major role in Ten Hag's third Eredivisie title win, with his versatility being a key feature. 

When asked about the player, Ten Hag said: "I think all the top clubs in Europe have Timber in their sights".

GOAL can confirm that Kylian Mbappe has agreed terms with Real Madrid, with a deal for the Paris Saint-Germain star set to be announced following the Champions League final.

Mbappe's current contract with PSG expires in one month, and the club have been desperately trying to keep him in the French capital. 

The World Cup winner has insisted that he will make his decision at the end of the season, but Real Madrid are now confident of securing his services on a free transfer.

The Serbian midfielder is set to become a free agent when his contract at Manchester United expires this summer.

Mourinho worked with Matic when he was in charge at United, and previously at Chelsea, with the Portuguese now set to push for him to join him again at Roma.

Newcastle in strong position to land Tarkowski


Newcastle are in a strong position to land Burnley defender James Tarkowski this summer - according to 90min.

Eddie Howe has long been an admirer of the 29-year-old, whose contract is due to expire on June 30.

Tarkowski will leave Burnley on a free transfer regardless of whether or not they avoid relegation from the Premier League, with Newcastle now poised to swoop.

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has admitted that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic “will not remain in Italy” if a big-money transfer is to be completed this summer, with the highly-rated midfielder continuing to generate talk of interest from Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also been linked with the 27-year-old Serbia international, who has returned to top form this season with 11 goals and 12 assists across all competitions.

Those qualities are attracting admiring glances from across Europe, with Sarri conceding that a deal could be done in the next window if an ever-increasing asking price in the Italian capital is met by any of Milinkovic-Savic’s many suitors.
