Former Argentina star Oscar Ruggeri is in no doubt that River Plate boss Marcelo Gallardo could take the reins at one of Europe's top clubs.

Brazil legend Rivaldo believes his compatriot Raphinha would benefit from a transfer to Liverpool.

Highly rated Tottenham youngster Jack Clarke has been tipped to make a winter loan switch by ex-Spurs defender Alan Hutton. 

“It’s a shame because I think he’s a very good player,” Hutton told Football Insider.

“He’s still young and at a big club so there’s a lot of pressure there.

“He has to go somewhere and play football.”
