Leonardo swaps Arabian Gulf League champions Al Jazira for Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr

The Brazilian made an impact on the UAE outfit but has chosen to move to Al Nassr.

Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr have signed one-time AFC Champions League winner Leonardo from Al Jazira.

The Brazilian bids farewell to the Arabian Gulf League champions after just six months of service.

Leonardo scored six times in 14 league games last season after being signed from 2016 AFC Champions League winners Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors of South Korea.

The 30-year-old however isn't the only incoming recruit fot the Jeddah-based club. Argentina international Cristian Guanca also joins their ranks.

The attacking midfielder arrives from Argentina's Colon.

Al Nassr are looking to bolster their squad with William Jebor also signing on the dotted line.

Zoran Mamic's recruits will look to help the side improve on the sixth place Pro League finish last season.

Al Nassr went trophyless for a second season running as they were knocked out of the Crown Prince Cup in the quarter-finals and the King's Cup in the Round of 32.
