Wafu final: Nigeria vs. Ghana
The Ghanaian striker has joined the Safir Al Janoub until end of the season, following his departure from Smouha

Former Berekum Chelsea striker Stephen Sarfo has joined Lebanese top-flight Tadamon Sour in a one-year deal, the club has announced.

The 26-year-old was one of the three Ghanaians who mutually terminated their contracts with Egyptian side FC Smouha in April after the club finished sixth and failed to qualify for the Caf Confederation Cup.

Sarfo was linked to Asante Kotoko following the exit of Sadick Adams but the indefinite suspension of Ghana Premier League halted plans.

"We welcome Stephen Sarfo to the Sour Stadium and believe he will be part of our success story this season," a club statement read.

"He joins us from now until the end of the season and may further sign another contract afterwards. We wish him all the best during his stay in Lebanon. Welcome home," the statement added.

Sarfo was a member of the Ghana squad that won the 2017 Wafu Cup of Nations, claiming also the golden boot with three goals.
